Whats the MSCC club all about?

The Muswellbrook Seniors Computer Club (MSCC) is aimed at helping meet the needs of Muswellbrook and District Seniors who want to better use computers and related systems.

A prime objective of the club is to teach seniors to use and enjoy the benefits of computer technology and to provide a seniors oriented resource that members can comfortably call on to help solve their computer related issues.

All training is conducted in a positive and friendly environment where seniors learn from other seniors. They can learn what they choose to learn and they can learn at their own pace.  The club encourages members to bring their own project to the training sessions.

As the club will have a number of members who act as tutors and committee persons, the self-esteem of these people will be enhanced by what they are able to give to others.

We also use regular monthly meetings to share ideas and help seniors resolve issues they may be having.

And lastly, and most importantly, for all to have fun doing it.

What will the club do for me?

  • Provide training courses at low cost that are specifically designed and timed for seniors.
  • Provide contacts with people of similar interests
  • Help you to reach out to the world, to develop new interests, to use that 'damn thing you paid a lot of money for'.
  • Help you outsmart at least your kids (often not hard), and possibly even the grandkids (MUCH bigger challenge!!)
